Although Force India and Williams released rendered previews earlier in the week, the Woking-based outfit gave the first true insight into what major design differences can be expected for the upcoming season.

As anticipated, the Woking-based outfit's latest machine features a prominent 'anteater nose', a controversial design trait brought on by the the nose height being reduced from 550mm to 185mm under the new ruleset.

With the team previously stating that a title sponsor would not be announced at the launch, the car was unveiled in a standard silver livery, with the chassis name emblazoned on the top of the cockpit and rear wing.

The new campaign, which sees the introduction of turbocharged 1.6-litre V6 engines, will mark McLaren's final season with current supplier Mercedes. From 2015, the team will reunite with Honda in a works partnership.
