Lotus officially confirms Renault partnership
Lotus has announced an extension to its engine deal with Renault for the 2014 season and beyond.

Although the Enstone-based outfit had prepared its new E22 chassis around the French manufacturer's turbocharged 1.6-litre V6 power unit, there had been no official confirmation of a fresh agreement.
"We are pleased to see our partnership officially confirmed as the E22 takes to the track for its first official test," said Jean-Michel Jalinier, President of Renault Sport F1.
"The relationship between [Renault's engine headquarters in] Viry-Châtillon and Enstone has gone from strength to strength over the past few years. This is illustrated in no better way than the excellent – and very close – collaboration on the 2014 car, which is more technically complex than any previous designs.
"We hope this spirit will pay dividends on-track this season and going forward into the new F1 technical era."
Renault has supplied the team since the 2001 campaign, forming a factory deal from 2002 to 2010. It also worked with the previous Benetton guise, a relationship which began ahead of a title-winning 1995 season.
