No chance of title after penalty – Rossi
Valentino Rossi believes he has “no chance” of winning the MotoGP championship now he will start the title-deciding final round at Valencia from the back of the grid.

Rossi leads team-mate Jorge Lorenzo by seven points in the title race, but he believes Marquez – who he accused ahead of the weekend of trying to ruin his chances – has decided the championship in his fellow Spaniard’s favour.
“The sanction is almost definitive: to start last in Valencia equals not having any chance of making it,” Rossi told the Italian media at Sepang.
“This way the championship is distorted. I gave everything to win this title.
“Losing it on track is one thing, this way hurts a lot more.
“Should it help, Marquez would let Lorenzo through on the last lap [at Valencia].”
Rossi also hinted he may not race at Valencia on November 8, saying “we need to see if I will go,” although this was played down by his team boss Lin Jarvis.
The Italian also conceded it might have been a mistake to “unmask” Marquez with his comments ahead of the weekend, but he feels the Spaniard’s issue with him goes back further than that.
“He would have done the same even if I had not spoken,” Rossi added.
“Maybe it was a mistake [to speak out], but I couldn’t keep quiet.
“When someone wants to screw you, you have to say so.
“Marquez holds a grudge against me because he is convinced I made him crash on purpose in Argentina and, most of all, for what happened [on the final lap] in the Netherlands.”
