"Next week, the IMS gift shop and website will have our USWAG socks with the IMS wings and the logo for the 100th Indy 500," Waddell told RACER.
"In the future, we will have an IndyCar logo sock and two other [IMS] wings/100th running [of the Indy 500] socks focused on Memorial Day. In addition, we will be producing socks for 10 Indy Car drivers, and everything is made in America - North Carolina, to be exact."
Wilson spoke with pride about USWAG last year, and wore a small company logo on his helmet in anticipation of the company's launch during the off-season. He and Waddell went beyond IndyCar while securing rights in 2015, and will bring a line of English Premier League socks representing the popular soccer league to market.
"In the next several weeks, we are launching our EPL Collection," Waddell added. "We are currently the only company licensed to sell English Premier League socks in North America. USWAG currently has Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Norwich City, Swansea City, Southampton and Aston Villa, as well as English [second-tier] clubs Queens Park Rangers and Fulham. We are currently in negotiations with several other English Premier League teams. I know this license was very dear to Justin. He thought it was so cool to be selling English Premier League sock in the United States."
Waddell expects to add more lines of series- and league-themed socks to USWAG's initial entry into the apparel market. And with Wilson's wife Julia taking a greater role in the company, Waddell sees great potential in the business adding more financial stability for the Wilson family.
"It means the world to have Julia and the Wilson family supporting what Justin and I started," he said. "Over time, Julia has become more and more involved with the company. She is a tremendous woman that has to deal with things nobody should ever have to deal with. Physically, Justin is no longer with us, but his spirit for life and legacy can live forever through other's actions.
"She understood Justin's drive for this company, and at times, she probably wondered how two guys could spend so much time talking on the phone about socks ... I consider myself lucky in that we have this company to help carry on his legacy with something he was so passionate about."
