While it has been slow on the Formula 1 news front, it’s clear that teams are starting to fire-up for the forthcoming season.

After last week’s Carlos Sainz initiation at the Ferrari bash at Fiorane, Twitter has been bubbling with sneak previews, driver visits and teasers as the Bahrain opener draws closer.

Hot news, of course, is Daniel Ricciardo’s arrival at McLaren. With a decent car, Mercedes power next year, the big smiling Aussie may yet launch the finest legacy of his career and help his new team up at the very front where they once belonged.
